- Professionally treating customers;
- Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body;
- Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body;
- Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation and how to improve their posture;
- Welcome clients to the SPA and engage them in conversation to determine the services that they need;
- Interview clients to determine an illness or medical condition that they may have which will keep them from taking proper benefit from massage treatment;
- Provide clients with knowledge of different types of available massage and suggest appropriate massage therapies for individual clients;
- Explain the massage procedure and provide information about oils and creams which will be used during the massage;
- Perform massaging activities according to each client’s instruction (pressure and preferred oil/cream);
- Talk to clients (minimally) during massage treatment to ensure their well-being during the procedure;
- Confer with the client's PCP physiotherapists and chiropractors to determine the proper massage procedure;
- Maintain a constructive attitude and add toward a quality work environment;
- Help clients in all areas of SPA operation as requested by the organisation.
